I have always believed in the power of a good story—the kind that makes you laugh, makes you cry, and stays with you long after you’ve turned the final page.

My debut novel, A Time for Us, began decades ago as a story I simply couldn’t let go of. Life happened in between: raising a family, building a career, and becoming the woman I am today. But I kept coming back to Deborah and Pauli. In 2026, I finally shared their story with the world.

What I originally intended to be a standalone novel became something more. Readers weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to Deborah and Pauli, and as it turned out, neither was I. Their story continues in Another Again, the concluding novel in the Across Lifetimes Duology, releasing in January 2027.

A Time for Us received a five-star review and Gold Book Award for Historical Fiction from Literary Titan. That recognition was incredibly meaningful, but what means even more to me is hearing from readers who connected with these characters and saw pieces of themselves in their journeys.

My love of storytelling has also grown beyond writing my own books. I founded Infinite Serenity Publishing to champion remarkable stories and provide authors, particularly women and women of color, with thoughtful, author-centered support throughout the publishing journey.

Writing and publishing may be where my heart is, but my road here has been anything but conventional. I was born in the Bronx, New York, and moved to North Carolina during high school. I earned an Associate Degree in Science from Durham Technical Community College and later a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. I then built a career in information technology that has spanned more than twenty years.

I’m also the mother of three, an avid reader, traveler, amateur photographer, lover of historical documentaries, and longtime tennis fan, although these days, I do considerably more watching than playing.

If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that there is no expiration date on the dreams that keep calling you back.

I carried one particular story with me for decades before finally allowing myself to pursue it.

I’m very glad I did.
